STATUS: Permanent
HOURS: Full-Time
REMUNERATION: Competitive ($110K-$120K)
SUMMARY
We require a Registered Physiotherapist with strong managerial experience to manage Long-Term Care (LTC) Rehabilitation Services in LTC Homes across Ontario.
You will be responsible for oversight of all Physiotherapists, Physiotherapist Assistants, and Occupational Therapists working in LTC Homes. You will also serve as a key point of contact with the leadership of the LTC Homes, for safety, quality, and risk management activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee budget across all LTC Homes
- Hire, onboard, and train PTs, PTAs, and OTs
- Provide clinical guidance and support for problem solving and complaint resolution
- Schedule and allocate resources across LTC Homes to ensure service continuity
- Collaborate with LTC Home executive and local leadership for delivery of high quality services
- Coordinate and implement joint education initiatives (as needed) with LTC Home leadership
- Perform file audits to ensure compliance with Ministry guidelines
- Analyze monthly data; create and monitor quality improvement plans
- Present service results at quarterly Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) Meetings
- Registrant in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum 2 years of experience in delivery of Physiotherapy Services in the LTC setting
- Managerial experience involving oversight of rehabilitation staff
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) upon hire
- Up-to-date on required vaccinations, including influenza vaccine (or commitment to take anti-viral medications), MMR, DTaP, varicella, and TB skin test
- Knowledge/experience in evidence-based musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory practice, with a strong emphasis on improving functional outcomes
- Proficient in use of PointClickCare, RAI-MDS 2.0, and Excel for data analysis
- Superior communication, problem solving, and clinical reasoning skills
- Flexible, collaborative, and respectful approach to meet needs of BiM Health staff, LTC Home leadership and staff, and Residents/Families
