Kinesiologist
Location: Vancouver Clinic Program: Active Rehabilitation Programs Status: Part-time (22.5 hours/week) with the possibility of moving to full time Compensation: $26-33 per hour (Employee or Contractor)
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of weakness, restrictions and overall rehabilitation needs
Develop and implement customized exercise prescription tailored to each client's unique goals and conditions
Facilitate active rehabilitation sessions focused on strengthening, mobility, and stretching exercises to promote recovery and functional improvement
Support clients in regaining their ability to engage in regular life activities through education and hands-on rehabilitation.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Kinesiologist in a related setting
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or equivalent
Memberships: Member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK)
Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and adapt to changing demands.
Travel: May be required to travel within the lower mainland
